Bina License Wale Electric Scooter: Kaun Se Hain?
In India, electric scooters with a motor of up to 250W and a top speed of up to 25 km/h aren't treated as motor vehicles under the Motor Vehicles Act. That means no driving license, registration (RC) or road tax.
Our low-speed Yakuza models fall in this category. Scooters with higher speed or power do need a license and registration, so we'll confirm the category of any model with you before you buy.
- No Driving License Required
- No RC or registration
- No Road Tax
- Easy to ride, even for first-timers
- Ride from age 16+

Common questions
Everything You Want to Know Before Buying
Do I need a license or registration to ride an electric scooter?
Not for low-speed models with a motor up to 250W and a top speed up to 25 km/h. Faster scooters do need both. We'll tell you the category of your model before you buy.
Can I buy on EMI? What's the down payment?
Yes. You pay a down payment and spread the rest over [6 to 36] months. Use the EMI calculator above or message us on WhatsApp for exact figures.
Can I ride an electric scooty in Tricity in the rain?
Yes, in normal rain. Every Yakuza model comes with traction control, which helps the tyres keep their grip on wet roads. Ride slower on wet roads and avoid flooded stretches.
Yakuza scooter ki service kahan hoti hai?
Humare Mohali showroom ke bilkul saamne hamara apna service centre hai. Technician aur spare parts, sab ek hi jagah.
Is it good enough for delivery work?
Many delivery riders choose RUBIE for its 100 km range and low running cost. Check that your delivery platform accepts electric two-wheelers of this class.
